Ryanair are pushing forward with charging there pilots for positioning flights.As in,a lot of the flight crew are needed in other bases for flights,and sometimes spend a week at a time in other bases that are temporarily short Captains or F/O's.But obviously they have to travel to the base.At the moment pilots can travel free to the base that they need to operate out of,but Ray Conway,Ryanairs Chief pilot wants pilots to pay for their ticket to the base so they can work out of it.I presume ryanair are not making enough money out of prcc so they are targeting pilots even more now!
Add further insult to injury.Pilots are deserting Ryanair in droves after a sudden roster change was forced on pilots with no warning,discussion or consideration.Basically pilots worked a set roster of 5days on,4days off.Which ment a lot of pilots could work abroad for 5 days,and come home for 4,but Ryanair just woke up a few days ago and said "Nope,3 days now,tough like it or lump it",well they dont like it and now their lumping it.Over 8 Captains have walked out in protest as it has disrupted there lives to an intolerable level.
At the moment many large airlines are recruiting again,and now Ryanair Captains and F/O's are deserting them!They have really rocked the boat to much now,and pilots are not happy.
European Base Managers and Inflight managers are panicking because Ryanairs recruitment of pilots/cabin crew is at a standstill.They dont have enough pilots anymore,and there main supply of pilots,Oxford Aviation has been effected by the recent recession,and recruitment is stalled.
Ryanair pride themselves on there 'stable' rosters and now its in disarray as they dont have enough pilots....

If Bonderman''hypocrite'' tpg capital and O'Leary the mouth treat ryanair pilots this way,god help us all.....
